Capcom has announced that Street Fighter 6 will be available on the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 starting June 5, 2025. To celebrate the launch of the new console, fans will also be able to purchase the new Years 1-2 Fighters Edition, which gathers all fighters, stages, and content released in the game's first two seasons.
In addition to being available for Switch 2, the complete edition will also be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, bringing a package full of action, customizations, and new modes.
The arrival of Street Fighter 6 Switch 2 promises a revolution in how you play wherever you want. The game has been optimized to offer dynamic and adrenaline-filled matches in portable mode or on TV, without losing the essence of the franchise.
Among the exclusive features of Street Fighter 6 for Switch 2 are:
Local Wireless Match – One on One: Challenge nearby friends without needing internet.
Avatar Battle Local: Fight with your character created in World Tour mode, using moves learned during the campaign.
Tabletop Mode with Joy-Con: Play with friends by sharing controls in tabletop mode, with full support for Classic, Modern, and Dynamic styles.
Gyro Battle: Use the motion controls of the Joy-Cons for more immersive and fun battles.
Calorie Contest Mode: Execute attacks and Super Arts using the motion sensors of the controllers to increase your "Calorie Gauges" and test your physical endurance.
The Switch 2 edition also introduces collectible amiibo figures and cards with characters like Luke, Jamie, and Kimberly. Amiibos unlock in-game content, such as:
