Capcom has released the latest update for Street Fighter 6, officially introducing C.Viper as a playable DLC character. Alongside her arrival, the patch includes a wide range of balance changes and bug fixes affecting 13 fighters across the roster.

C.Viper now available in Street Fighter 6

Players can unlock C.Viper in several ways:

• Included in the Year 3 Character Pass;
• Available through the Year 3 Ultimate Pass;
• Or purchased separately using Fighter Coins.

Upon release, C.Viper comes with two unique outfits:

• Outfit 1: inspired by her new SiRN role;
• Outfit 2: her classic Street Fighter IV look, unlockable via Fighter Coins or maximum bond in World Tour Mode.

Patch notes and gameplay improvements

Beyond C.Viper’s debut, this update introduces important fixes and adjustments for several characters, including Chun-Li, Akuma, M. Bison, Cammy, and others. The main focus is improving Drive Rush consistency, command responsiveness, and overall combat balance.

Key highlights from the patch

• Drive Rush behavior: fixed an issue where canceling from certain missed light attacks wouldn’t trigger correctly.
• Command priority fixes: resolved cases where special moves would override Drive Rush cancels under specific inputs.
• Super Art adjustments: refined behavior when hitting opponents in Burnout state, ensuring smoother Drive Gauge recovery.
• Gauge recovery bug: fixed a rare issue where combos with 16+ hits reduced Super Art gauge recovery unintentionally.

These improvements affect characters such as Marisa, Sagat, Elena, Kimberly, E. Honda, and more — enhancing gameplay balance for both casual and competitive players.
